Laura Garcia Navarrete is a fully qualified English and Spanish Lawyer who studied at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid before completing a Master’s degree in Business Legal Advice at Instituto de Empresa in Madrid followed by a further Master’s Degree at the University of Sussex near Brighton.
Laura has been a member of the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Madrid since 1992 and practised law in Spain for 5 years before moving to the UK. She was also admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales since 2015.
Since moving to England, Laura worked for 3 years on elements of the Consumer Credit Act for a major British Bank.
In 2005, she established as a Spanish solicitor in England because of the large volume of queries she has been asked to deal with concerning Spanish property and Timeshare Law. In 2009 Laura Garcia joined ACT Legal Ltd, working with them and creating the Spanish law department, and in 2015 became a fully qualified English solicitor and admitted to Bar.
Laura Garcia has a thorough understanding of the purchase and sale procedure and of other matters that may arise while you or someone from your family is a property owner in Spain. She also works with a carefully chosen. experienced and reliable network of agents in different areas of Spain who act as per her instructions.
